I've slowly come to recognise this feeling of discomfort. Tentatively, with fingers crossed, pressing play on an album I want to love. This exactly how not to listen to music objectively, expectation is a powerful demon distorting your reasoning with Tweedledum and Tweedledee logic. I am a wasted vessel, there is no way I could give a good review of this album. Go press play yourself.
