So this is how it's going to happen now.
Hi, welcome back. I'm overwhelmed currently, so I've had a rethink and this is the way things are going to go from now on.

Indian Summer Winds
Times of struggle are often great times
of innovation and a special type of productivity. This obviously
doesn't apply to this blog which has been a drift afloat in the
Wifi-ether for about 9 months. I've been here, I didn't fall over board. I've just been
quiet, really fucking quiet. Self-indulgently gorging on every
bang, squeak and melody that blows through my headphones.
I've been listening intently as each
album has made its splash this year, but like a good back
seat driver I’ve kept my gob shut. Before I clean the barnacles off
laptop and start to type freely, this should be a good musical map of
where I’ve been. Enjoy.

Tribes - We Were Children
Pinch yourself, it's 2012! You're back? ..Phew, same happened to me. It seems we can be brought back, but Tribes are still there. Sweaty swaggering choruses, songs to spill your drink to, and lyrics to shout down your best friends ear at the end of a party. Fuck. It's the bloody 90s again! I love Tribe like I love my first childhood pet. I would give anything to see him again, but I’m not sure I want to dig him out of the garden.
Maccabees - Given To The Wild
I've slowly come to recognise this feeling of discomfort. Tentatively, with fingers crossed, pressing play on an album I want to love. This exactly how not to listen to music objectively, expectation is a powerful demon distorting your reasoning with Tweedledum and Tweedledee logic. I am a wasted vessel, there is no way I could give a good review of this album. Go press play yourself.
p.s. You won't disappointed.

The Black Keys - El Camino
Made for walking down the street and feeling like a badass. Outstanding even on first listen.
